A highly qualified and experienced professional in kayaking and outdoor recreation, he is a Master Maine Guide with endorsements in sea kayaking, recreation, and Level 2 Whitewater Rafting. He is also an American Canoe Association (ACA) Level 4 Whitewater Kayak Instructor and a British Canoeing 4-Star Sea Leader and Coach, certifications that reflect his dedication to skill development and safety on the water.

In addition, he is a certified Wilderness First Responder, ensuring he is always prepared to handle emergencies in remote environments. With a Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Recreation from Unity College, he has deepened his passion for teaching and connecting people to the outdoors.
