After being born and raised in rural Nova Scotia, it is no surprise that Daniel has an attraction to the outdoors. He first paddled his uncle’s kayak at around the age of ten and fell in love with the freedom and speed that the craft provided. In 2012 he purchased his first kayak and hasn’t stopped paddling since. “I am fortunate to be living in Nova Scotia, Canada’s Ocean Playground, which accommodates the worlds highest recorded tidal range. The Shubenacadie River is practically in my back yard and is one of my favourite places to paddle.” Enjoying the diversity of sea kayaking and the seemingly endless adventures that can be pursued, Daniel is dedicated to promoting the sport to others and sharing the experiences.
