Born and raised in Scotland, Gordon Brown is renowned worldwide for his engaging coaching style, impeccable kayak skills, and signature Scottish charm. His contributions to the paddling community include the award-winning DVD series Sea Kayak with Gordon Brown, the essential guide Sea Kayak: A Manual for Intermediate and Advanced Kayakers, and guest coaching at events spanning Chile, Israel, and San Francisco. When not traveling, Gordon balances family life on the Isle of Skye with running Skyak Adventures alongside his wife, Morag, while pursuing a Master’s in Performance Coaching. With another book in the works, Gordon continues to shape the future of sea kayaking through his expertise and passion for the sport.
