A lifelong educator, Jonathan has been passionate about sea kayaking since the early 2000s, developing his skills through countless outings, training courses, and expeditions. He began offering instruction in 2007 after earning his instructor certification with Canot Kayak Québec and achieving the KDM CKQ Level IV Practitioner certificate in 2010. In 2015, he reached the highest distinction in Canadian sea kayaking, obtaining the Level IV Practitioner certification from Paddle Canada.

Now a Level IV Instructor with Canot Kayak Québec and a trainer of future instructors, Jonathan is dedicated to developing paddlers and educators alike. In 2015, he helped organize the inaugural Défi Kayak Desgagnés and has since served as chief instructor.

Jonathan also played a key role in founding the Pagaie Québec boutique and its affiliated sea kayak club, where he remains actively involved in growing the paddling community.
