Ryan’s journey into the world of adventure began in 2013 when he started working in the Polar Regions with Quark Expeditions. He also shares his passion for the outdoors as an Outdoor Educator with Cape Lahave Adventures and Outward Bound Canada. Whether paddling in a kayak, exploring on foot, or gardening his oceanside yard on Grand Manan Island, Ryan is always at home in nature.

A proud East Coast native, Ryan’s sea kayaking journey began in 2008 with his first stroke in a certified course. Since then, he has earned his Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Level 4 paddler certification and Level 2 Instructor status. He has also completed BCU Coastal Water and Open Water Navigation courses and holds an Advanced Remote First Responder certificate.
