Born and raised in Arizona, Trey Rouss gained his education through the oceans, mountains, and deserts across the USA. He is the owner of The Power of Water in Lansing, Michigan, and a staff member at the Michigan State University School of Kinesiology. An ACA L5 Advanced Open Water Kayak instructor, Trey also teaches and mentors others in whitewater and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). As the organizer of The Great Lakes Sea Kayak Symposium and a P&H Team Paddler, he is dedicated to making paddling accessible, connecting with paddlers of all skill levels, and keeping the learning process simple and engaging.
